The uk.sport.football Archive Submission Guidelines
We are more than happy to receive submissions from anyone for the archive.
To make things easier for us, please follow the guidelines below. If you
have any questions, please feel free to email the postmaster at archive@uksf.org.uk.
If you read a post you feel is good enough to be in the archive, please do the following:
- Email the whole post, untrimmed, with the name, poster's e-mail address,
date and message-ID to the postmaster at
archive@uksf.org.uk
- NEW!!! You can now add your post here - please remember to post the whole post,
including full headers. Also, since this is new, it is also worth keeping a
copy, as the webmaster is a bit of a dopey tart.
- You may also include in your email any comments on the post you wish
entered with the post, as its 'preface' and your thoughts on which section
the post belongs. Both these are optional.
- If the post is considered archive-material by the postmaster, he/she will
check with the original poster before adding it to the archive. If the postmaster
has doubts, or it's one of the postmaster's own posts, he/she will ask other
postmasters for their opinions.
Please note that posts with X-No-Archive:Yes headers will be
accepted for submission provided the original poster agrees, as some uk.sport.football
regulars have requested.
